Bell Tent Hire

Looking for more of a glamping type experience... then hire a 5m Bell tent (2 available) which comfortably sleep 5. A further 2 person bell tent is also available. Please contact us for details. Arrive with it erected, and fully furnished with comfy beds, duvets, bed linen and sumptuous pillows so all you have to do is relax. Bell tent hire comes with private bathroom Beryl(see below) as standard and starts at £290 for a 3night stay.

Bathroom Facilities

A basic tent pitch booking includes a compost loo and shower unit to share with other campers. Why not upgrade to bathe in style with our utterly unique off-grid Beryl bathroom, our mobile renovated horse trailer which offers a sublime copper bath, flushing toilet and sink. As if that wasn't enough it also comes with hot outdoor shower (with screen) and dish washing facilities on the outside. Just add bubbles...of any sort!

There are 3 Beryls in total but these can be ordered with bell-tent hire or with grass pitches. Please contact us if your particular configuration isn't given on the booking page. Beryls can also be shared so if there are two or three groups of campers sharing a Beryl is an option.

Activities

Worried about how you will fill your time? We can recommend/organise experienced Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi teachers or a full-on Boot Camp.

Learn a new skill. We can offer a huge range of activities with dedicated instructors in willow weaving, silver jewellery making, wreath making, photography and pottery.  Some classes/workshops can be taken on the campsite but some will need to be run in the Party Shed down at the farmhouse. Contact the course providers directly or ourselves for further details

Fire Pits

There is nothing better as the stars begin to fill the night sky than huddling round a log-fire telling tales or sharing stories which is why each pitch gets its own small fire pit. Logs including fire-starting equipment and instructions can all be purchased on-site very close to the pitches on a honesty basis. £4 for large bag.

Food

For groups we can recommend Pedal & Push a local catering company who will come on site and make great crepes and wood-fired pizza's.

There is a convenience store selling most basic food ingredients a 15-20 minute walk from the camping. There is a cafe and 2 great pubs in walking distance (Navigation Inn and Cross Guns) and a great gastro-pub a 5-mile bike ride away. Or for something a little different visit Stonehouse Brewery  in Oswestry for great food and possibly a spot of award-winning Beer or Gin tasting. We can highly recommend both!!!

Or be totally self-sufficient or frequent some of the lovely public houses and cafes we have dotted about the area.

OR book our meal boxes at £6 per person which must be ordered 7 days before arrival. All boxes have been well thought through and tried and tested on even the most novice of cooks. Each box includes homegrown or local produce, from food heroes where possible, and everything you need to cook up at storm; ingredients, pans, utensils and instructions.

At the end of the meal simply rinse everything down and then place everything back in the box and we will pick them up the next morning.

Once a booking is made orders for meal boxes will be taken in follow-up emails. Please notify us of any allergies.

Breakfast boxes can also be ordered which include local freshly squeezed Apple Juice, milk, oats, homemade jam or marmalade, local honey. Please enquire for cost and full list of contents.
