What time can I check in?

You can arrive and erect your tent anytime between 3pm-8pm on the day of arrival 

What time do we have to check out?

We ask that everybody leaves the site by 11am

What is the latest I can book for same day arrival?

4pm

What is the wi-fi like on site?

There is no Wi-Fi but 4G signal on most networks is strong. 

Is the water safe to drink?

Taps on each site provide water which is from our own natural water source and has been UV treated and tested annually for drinking standard quality.

Is there electric hook up?

There is no electric hook up, the site is off-grid. Please come equipped with back-up energy packs for phones, lights and torches.  

Are cars allowed on site? 

Cars are allowed on each site except the Den site, parking for this site is at the farmhouse and there is a 5 minute walk from the house across 2 flat fields to reach the site. Wheelbarrows are offered to help with moving equipment.  

Can I bring dogs?

Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on leads. Please bring enough poo bags for your stay.

Is the site appropriate for disabled?

We welcome everyone. The sites are level but possibly bumpy underfoot and difficult for wheelchairs. 

Can I play music?

If the site is hired exclusively by you then yes of course, music can be played till 10pm. If there are other campers nearby music be played between the hours of 9am and 8pm but we ask that you show consideration for your neighbours and should be played quietly.
Is the site Covid-19 secure?

Camping provides a largely secure environment with little room for onward transmission through minimal contact between groups. Any equipment which is hired by visitors will be thoroughly cleaned between hires. 

Are guests free to roam all of the fields?

We ask that guests keep to the public footpaths around the field. At certain times of the year there may be electric or barbed wire fencing used on fields not used by campers and keeping to the public footpath will ensure access across all fields.

Are guests free to visit the farm?

Any visits to the farm yard need to be pre-arranged as it is a busy working farm.   

Is there a minimum number of nights we can stay?

If you pitching your own tent there is no minimum stay but if you are hiring our tent or bell tent or Beryl the minimum stay is 3 nights. 

How far is the nearest shop?

A McColls convenience store is located a 10 minute walk from Canal-side. Oswestry has a large Sainsburys, Morrisons, Aldi ,Co-op and Lidl supermarkets.
